Humankind has access to a multitude of occult disciplines that when practiced result in the development of increased spiritual awareness; however, practicing these disciplines in an environment of extreme materialism is like having one’s head bashed against a wall and then taking aspirin to relieve the pain. Wouldn’t it be better to not have one’s head bashed against the wall?

These occult disciplines include Yoga, Tai Chi, and Chi Gong, which along with practices from the Toltecs of Mexico, the Hopis of North America, and various South American and African cultures constituted an integral part of the daily routines of the indigenous people who had developed them, rather than serving as palliatives to the effects of an unnatural lifestyle as they do in the Western or Honkey world.

The basis of honkeyism is gross materialism and for it to regard something as true it must be replicated in a laboratory or in some material arena. Materialism becomes God, it dictates what is true and what isn’t.
Since materialism has become God, the acquisition and ownership of material things indicates the development of godly power. Money, which acts as the vehicle for measuring material accumulation, serves as the basis for evaluating one’s competence and value to society.

Children are told to study hard, get a good job, make a lot of money and become somebody. Women are lured out of the home with the same enticement but through more sophisticated communications activities.
Money also becomes the vehicle used to correct all the problems of society.

To combat poor academic performance more money is spent on modern instructional equipment, better paid teachers, and improved curricula; to reduce crime more money is spent on law enforcement, security, and surveillance; to protect the environment more money is spent on reclaiming wildlife refuges, developing alternate forms of energy and enacting new environmental protection laws; and to combat poor health more money is spent on the development of sophisticated drugs, high-tech medical equipment, and intricate surgical procedures.

The result of this ever increasing expenditure has produced children (and adults) who can’t read or count; increased levels of crime, especially fatal and body deforming occurrences; an increase of all categories of environmental pollution; and increased numbers of chronic ailments, stress related diseases, and reproductive malfunction.

Every societal issue that money had been thrown at continues to deteriorate and at an increasing rate.

The Western populace has become increasingly aware of these conditions and instinctively seeks some form of solace to alleviate the angst that this awareness creates, hence it delves into occult practices that are not available to it from within; however engaging in these practices without addressing the fundamental issue of gross materialism in which they engage will produce a dichotomy of activity resulting in mental confusion.

Working all day with a focus on earning money, profits, the bottom line, investments based on material gain, financial planning, and financial needs of the individual and then devoting a portion of time in the morning or evening or on weekends to meditate and study matters spiritual with others results in a dual lifestyle that might offer near-term solace ( such as taking aspirins for the head bashings) but will change little long-term. Evidence of this is the growth of New-age activities into a multi-billion dollar industry while marriage, religious participation, and marital fidelity have decreased, and unwed motherhood, divorce and adultery have increased.

Spiritual growth does not require gimmicks; instead it requires an awareness of matters unseen, an understanding of gender, and the development of family as the focal point of society. Spirituality requires living it from when we awaken to when we go to bed. It can include New Age philosophy (which is really ancient wisdom) or it can focus on the religion in which you were raised.

Spirituality is not compatible with honkey values and its materialistic lifestyle. To achieve spiritual growth requires living outside of the materialistic confines of honkeyism. It might require settling for less income, fewer material possessions, and less ostentatious conduct. It could entail sharing your time, talents, and treasures with others. It will require a change in lifestyle; then participating in occult practices will become a part of that new lifestyle instead of serving as an escape from it. The need for treating the occult as a spiritual aspirin will pass.

Religion and Ethics

All the world’s major religions, with their emphasis on love, compassion, patience, tolerance, and forgiveness can and do promote inner values. But the reality of the world today is that grounding ethics in religion is no longer adequate. This is why I am increasingly convinced that the time has come to find a way of thinking about spirituality and ethics beyond religion altogether.

The above quote from the Dalai Lama serves as one of many examples of the tendency by international leaders to gravitate to a one-world standard for everything, including ethics. I will address that trend at another time; the purpose of this essay is to define the difference between religion and spirituality and to show why religion is losing its influence.

Spirituality is truth and knowledge. Religion is man’s finite understanding of infinite truth. It is feminine in nature in that it materializes and personalizes the impersonal truth of the unseen.

Spiritual thought comes to this world from the written and/or spoken word of spiritually advanced individuals. The institutionalization of finite expressions of infinite truth becomes religious doctrine and is limited by the relative spiritual development of those who maintain the institutions and read the spiritual texts and teachings upon which the institutions are based.

Sects splinter off from primary religious groups due to the differences in interpretation of the original material provided, a natural occurrence making for a common bond of those with a particular understanding. All major religions have multitudes of sects reflecting the relative understanding of its members, thereby providing sustenance for all levels of understanding.

Why have the religions that provided the basis for moral behavior for millennia lost their influence? The truth contained in all the great spiritual texts and preached by the various prophets has not changed. It cannot change. There are no old or new truths. There is only truth—it never changes—that’s what makes it the truth.

It is the perception of the truth that changes. If society moves upward in the spiritual realm understanding of the scriptures will increase, and if it moves downward its understanding will decrease. The last half of the 20^th century witnessed a huge focus on materialism by Western society, which overshadowed increases in spiritual understanding that were beginning to sprout.

At this point I ask the reader to review A Gender History of Europe – Part 2, which explains that Europe stands alone as a continent devoid of spiritual tradition and practice. It imported a spiritual text from Asia, lost much of its knowledge in translation, and made a rule book out of what was intended to serve as a spiritual training manual.

The gross materialism of Western thought smothered any influence the Bible had on personal conduct because there was never a tradition of worship, respect for the environment, reverence for ancestors, or family focus. Home, roots, family, and tradition had very little influence in society, especially in the United States. The social structure of society was predicated on consumption and self-indulgence.

As society increased its focus on making money it decreased what little focus it had on the propagation of the species and spiritual growth. The purpose of men and women changed from collectively bringing life into this world, nurturing it, and developing moral behavior and spiritual awareness; instead it focused on learning money making skills so that they could amass material things and enjoy the self-indulgent life.

Women were lured out of the home so that they could get their fare share of money. The need for fathers and mothers in that cultural paradigm decreased as the government began feeding more children than mothers did, and providing more discipline and direction than fathers did. In that form of societal arrangement where would the implementation of religious teachings take place?

Religious practice cannot take place in a vacuum. There has to be a place where children are taught to pray, say grace, respect for elders, reverence for all things. The state doesn’t provide such an environment; to the contrary, it inhibits references and practices to God or spirituality.

The center for religious learning and practice is the family. With the deliberate emasculation of the male and the removal of his authority the family broke down, the government took control of society, and religions lost their influence.

The religions of the world will probably change for reasons stated earlier, but the truths upon which they are based will not. What the world needs is a return to the family as the focus of societal activity, and it will happen. A multitude of prophets have forecast the end of grossly materialistic societies. The current one is no exception. Solomon said there was nothing new under the Sun and Isaiah stated that we shall rebuild on the old foundations and that we will become known as the rebuilders. That day is close at hand.

Female Entrepreneurship

One of the rallying themes of early feminism called for removing women from the environment they referred to as drudgery, which consisted of cooking, baking, sewing, cleaning, and communications limited to references of the accomplishments of their husbands and children, their own self-adornment, and all socially constructed stereotypical activities of women. Now that women freed from pressure to engage in stereotypical homemaking activities have bloomed entrepreneurially, let’s have a look at the fields in which they have excelled.

The top American business women who do not have inherited wealth are Debbie Fields of Mrs. Fields Cookies – baking, Mary Kay Ash of Mary Kay Cosmetics – self-adornment, Martha Stewart of Martha Stewart Living – cooking, Oprah Winfrey of Harpo Productions – talking, and Sara Blakely of Spanx–sewing. Also, a recent issue of Crain’s welcomed successful women entrepreneurial firms such as Moda – quilting fabrics, Birchbox – grooming products, and Bauble – women’s jewelry.  These women earned their wealth from their talents in cooking, baking sewing, talking, and self-adornment; the same activities that feminists railed against 60 years ago

Where are the female engineering and science majors that are the equivalents of Bill Gates of Microsoft, Steve Jobs of Apple Computers, and Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook, none of whom graduated from college? Inventiveness does not require a college education or recitations. New comes from conceptual thinking, a non-recitorial male characteristic. How can anything new possibly come from non-conceptual thinking? In my first book Dear Brothers and Sisters: Gender and Its Responsibility in the chapter titled It’s New, I pointed out that new comes from the creative will of the masculine gender.

Not only do all new conceptual developments come from men, but all of the above mentioned women’s businesses depend upon the products that men developed.

These women entrepreneurs cooked, sewed, and produced female grooming products utilizing sewing machines, cutters, grommeters, computers, mixers, blenders, juicers, microwaves, freezers, laboratory equipment and petrochemicals designed and developed by men. They advertised and promoted their products on television and the internet in front of cameras, sound systems, lighting, and a host of communications products invented and developed by men.

On the other hand, Gates, Jobs, and Zuckerberg did not use anything invented and pioneered by women to develop their own products.

All women executives up to the level of CEOs function in an environment that had already been created for them. They have not created anything new.

While writing this essay I checked the internet and came across a brief story about a professional woman gambler who could hold her own with men gamblers. The female news commentator stated that her performance served as another example of women capable of doing anything that men can do. This essay should have already illustrated her statement to be one of recitorial gross ignorance. A more correct statement is “women can only do what men have first done and taught them to do.”

Men provide the means and environment for everything that a woman does. That is the nature of the universe and the symbolic meaning of Eve coming from Adam’s rib. Everything that exists comes from the masculine principle. There is no place else for anything to come from.

In A Gender Handbook for Western Man, I explained that all accomplishment requires an assertive influence acting upon a receptive entity. Two assertive influences or two receptive entities cannot accomplish anything.

We have discovered another chink in the armor of recitorial thinking—its inability to create new.

The coeducation of our children and young adults requires teaching geared to the recitorial level, inasmuch as women cannot learn at the conceptual level. If both men and women are receptive and recitorial, where will all knowledge come from?

We have reduced men and women to work digits to be ruled and directed from sources outside of themselves. The seeds for our destruction have been sown and are germinating.

The equalization of gender by law and the destruction of the family have removed people from a source of knowledge and experience accumulated over generations or even centuries, and have reduced them to automaton workers devoid of any information except what they have been trained to recite in school, on the job, or through the media.

The psyche of Western thought being female is materially oriented; therefore, the conceptual thinking of the male is limited to material inventiveness, which he has excelled in to an unprecedented degree. However, as gender differences become more subdued the natural drive and conceptual thinking of the male also becomes subdued resulting in a decrease in inventiveness. The Soviet Union failed economically because it legislated away the source of new, which the Western world has subsequently done, resulting in a drop in the inventiveness of the last 50 years to a fraction of what it was during the first half of the 20^th century.  Most of what we call new today consists of adaptations and modifications to existing products. The economy, an object of worship in the Western world, is rapidly grinding to a halt, and no amount of stimulus can save it, because the modern economy depends upon the new; and the source of new—the creative will of the masculine gender—has been suppressed.

Regarding the acclaim given to those women entrepreneurs mentioned earlier, my mother could bake cookies better than Debbie Fields, aunts on both sides of my family could cook as well as Martha Stewart, and most of the women I knew in my childhood could make their own dresses. Those women used their God-given talents for the betterment of the race through service to the family. Today we herald those few women who made a lot of money for themselves, the rest have been lured out of the homes, stripped of the ability to provide nurturing family functions, given recitorial training that will eventually become obsolete, reducing them to lonely unhealthy women dependent upon the government for their survival.

If we are to survive we must walk away from the materialistic recitorial society, and re-establish the family as the focus of a spiritually based and gender oriented society.

THE RECITORIAL SOCIETY

Social Work and the Law

In speaking to a young woman studying at John Jay College of Criminal Justice I asked her to what she attributed America having the most violent boys in the world? Her immediate response was that it was in their genes; a response ranking with free radicals, anti-oxidants and all the other recitorial claptrap of Western society. I addressed this issue during a radio interview on Father’s Day 2007 when I mentioned that on that night 24 million American children would go to bed in a home without a father it. The primary source of the most violent boys in America comes from that pool of children raised without a father at home. They are denied the warm, nurturing, attentive love which can only come from a mother living in the safe and secure environment provided by a husband. After school programs and assorted governmental child care facilities cannot effectively substitute for a mother’s nurturing love or the stability of a two parent home.

Ninety percent of the men in prison come from broken homes as do 95% street of street gang members. Had these men and youth been raised in stable family environments their rate of delinquency and crime would have been considerably reduced. Instead of focusing on building families, society lures women out of the home into school and industry, puts their children in pre-school and after school programs, teaches mothers to recite excuses (genes and assorted nonsense) for the delinquent behavior of children, and increases the malfunctioning society.

As the influence of the home decreases, reliance upon the law increases. Europeans love the law; it is female, deals with what is seen, and can be recited. The feminine materialistic psyche of the European not only loves the law, it worships it, making it the final arbiter of all relationships. Great edifices are built to house those who practice and preserve the law. The Supreme Court building in the United States and the various Ministries of Justice buildings in Europe serve as sacred monuments in which reference, submission, and obedience to the law by the populace takes place.

From the earliest European Greeks there existed a great dependency on the law.  Draco instituted a system of law based on an aristocracy (the feminine form of government.)  Solon developed a system of law in which eligibility for political power was based on wealth (a feminine value.)  From Draco, to Solon, to Justinian, to Napoleon, the Europeans prided themselves on their legal institutions.  After a 2,000 year history based on law, when the Europeans came to America the indigenous people said of them, “white man speak with forked tongue.”  Indeed he did, by lying, cheating, and breaking almost every treaty he made, he took their land out from under them, as he did to the Maoris in Hawaii and to other peoples of the world who befriended and welcomed him to their land.

There is no morality in the law. Laws are enacted when and where morality is lacking.

France’s Minister of Justice Rachida Dati reached the pinnacle of accomplishment in the legal profession. She is also an unwed mother and the father is yet to be identified; behavior no longer considered immoral, but rather an indication of liberation. Also, Minister Dati is a Muslim and has jurisdiction over a prison system in which 60% of the inmates are Muslim men. I wonder how long it will take the average Muslim man to figure out what is wrong with this arrangement.

Moral behavior does not come from the law. Moral behavior comes from ethics, which are unseen and come from those men who realize their objective in life is to provide the environment and means for women to bring forth life and nurture it as humankind progresses on its spiritual journey. Ethics do not come from any other place.

The lack of ethics is but one of the many chinks in the armor of the recitorial system. The United States has more lawyers per capita than any other nation and also more prisoners per capita, the largest total number of prisoners, 5% of the world’s population and 25 % of its prisoners, 2.4 million men in prison, more than the total prison population in China and India combined, and those two nations comprise over two billion people.

The recitorial system and its subdivisions, based on materialistic information, devoid of any understanding of the unseen, lacking a race consciousness let alone a God consciousness, relying upon the law instead of ethics, destroys the moral nature of people and the societies they create.

These essays are meant to act as motivators to bring about change in your personal lives and the environment in which you live. If you agree with what you read and do nothing it means you have become a part of the system. The time for action is at hand. It’s time to change your life and the life around you.

The educational system was referred to indirectly in the present and the previous essays; in the next essay I will go into greater detail concerning the efficacy of a college education.
