CORONA VIRUS MUSINGS

A university professor once asked me for my premise concerning a discussion I had with her regarding gender. I didn’t know that a premise was needed for the discussion of truth. Can’t we just know things? Since this article will be subject to the materialistic thinking prevalent in academia, the media, and most of society I will present my premise. There are no accidents in the universe – a cause exists for every effect.

My reasoning in this article will be based on that premise. Also, this article will not address the cause of the virus or how it got here. It will focus on the response to the toll that it has taken in sickness and death.

Regarding the toll taken in actual deaths, the numbers are elusive at best. A criteria of the death rate attributed to the virus would be to subtract from the total number of deaths taking place daily the normal death rate when the virus didn’t exist. That seems simple but it wasn’t done. My research uncovered that on a normal day 460 people die in New York City. To determine the number of people dying from the virus on any given day all that is necessary is to subtract 460 from the total number of deaths. If those figures were compared anywhere I am unaware of it and as of this writing I still do not know the actual number of Corona virus deaths in NYC..

Some attempt was made to determine the age group of those most susceptible to the virus and the results indicated the elderly were highly likely to develop serious symptoms leading to death. Further analysis revealed that among the elderly those with pre-existing health conditions were the most prone to suffering and death.

We were led by health professionals and the media to believe that the issue resided in being old and/or sick. They frightened us. I am 90 years-old, live in NYC and was told not to go out unless absolutely necessary, not to ride public transportation, to wear a mask and gloves, and wash thoroughly upon my return.  Woe unto me if I contacted the corona virus.

Upon reflection I came to the realization that at 90 years of age I never had a flue-shot nor ever had the flue even in the worst years of flu epidemic, nor did I ever have a bad cold. The issue is not ones age or general health, it has to do with the immune system.

The virus does not know an elderly person from a young person nor a healthy person from a sick one. The issue revolves around healthfulness and sickness. Some people in their 90’s contacted the virus without any ill effects.  A woman the age of 113 in Spain had contacted the virus without developing symptoms.

As a nation in general, and among health care professionals in particular, the focus is on the effect not on the cause. The effect is people suffering and dying. The cause is weakened immune systems.

Recent studies revealed that most of those who developed virus symptoms in Spain were vitamin D deficient.  Vitamin D along with Zinc and Vitamin C, are primary ingredients in developing a strong respiratory immune system. Vitamin D is available at no cost just by basking in the sun. However, health authorities warn us not to go out into the Sun as we could develop skin cancer. Consequently many people are Vitamin D deficient. Vitamin C and Zinc are readily available in natural foods; however, the high sugar and carbohydrate diets we feed our children and especially the elderly, lead to deficiencies in these ingredients.

Corona virus sickness and death are effects that result from the cause of weakened immune systems, which in turn are caused by unnatural life styles, especially the eating of energy depleted foods. Developing vaccines does not provide an answer to sickness, it addresses the effect, not the cause.

We live in a society focused on what it sees, which is an effect.  That society is ignorant of causes. Consequently it looks to the government to address all of the effects when in reality the government − either directly or indirectly − caused all of the effects.

There is another way to live. Think about it.

REFLECTIONS ON FEMALE SPORTS PARTICIPATION

During the Great Depression mothers stayed at home and children played on the sidewalks and streets of their neighborhoods. With little money available for toys and games, boys and girls had to determine how to entertain themselves while under the watchful eye of their mothers or neighborhood women

Boys and girls naturally gravitated towards activities for which they had a physical and mental inclinations. Even at the pre-school age girls had relatively broader hips and narrower shoulders than boys, which gave them an advantage at activities requiring balance such as hop-scotch and jump rope. They also  had the ability to do cartwheels easily, which they tended do instinctively. Girls also sang songs and usually accompanied them with some sort of rhythmic physical activity.

Boys tended to competitive activities that required strength, endurance, and courage; however, these traits did not manifest strongly until their sixth year. Boys and girls usually played together through the age of six, but by the age of seven if a boy was caught playing with the girls he was labeled a sissy. At that age boys began exhibiting their competitive natures and began playing marbles, card games, running races, and cops and robbers. They started to have team activities, such as stoop ball, sandlot baseball, touch football, or basketball in the park playground.

Boys become involved in sports instinctively as part of their preparation to fulfill their role in propagating and preserving the species. Sporting events in most indigenous societies were less a function of entertainment than an opportunity for the elders of the tribe to evaluate young men concerning their ability to eventually contribute to the larger societal order. It also gave young women the opportunity to review which men they would consider good marriage prospects. We will come back for another look at the gender activities of indigenous societies later.

Men’s sports were designed to develop the manly attributes necessary for the propagation and preservation of the species. There isn’t any functional purpose for women to engage in men’s sports: it is an aberration of human behavior that causes mutations to their bodies, inhibits their fertility, creates difficulty in having natural child births, and limits their ability to breast feed their children. As girls they become prone to physical injuries − especially damage to their knees − as a result of engaging in activities designed for men’s bodies.

Another aspect of male sporting activities unnatural for women consists of the ability to create and maintain teams. Males of all species have a natural ability and inclination to create structure. Men created every organizational structure that exists. Women not only do not create structure, they need structures in which to function. Secondly, at the age when boys begin forming teams, clubs, and gangs, girls begin establishing cliques. They have cliques in kindergarten, grade school, college, at work, and every institution that they belong to. Scientific research indicates that boys tend to associate in groups of 8 to 12 whereas girls tend to associate in groups of 3 or 4. There are few teams that can be made of groups of 3 or 4, but many teams can be made of groups of 8 to 12.

The physical participation of women in men’s sports is an aberration of human activity and the association of women into large groups is an anomaly. These unnatural activities exact negative mental, physical, and emotional tolls on women.

Returning to an examination of  most indigenous societies we find women do not engage in male type sports activities. On the contrary, as they approach the age of maturation every effort is made to treat a woman’s physical and emotional well-being in a manner that will enable her to become fertile and have a successful pregnancy. Marriage, birth, and the rearing of children are sacred occurrences and activities in most primitive societies, and tribal activities focus around those events. Men provide the environment and means for women to bring forth life and nurture it; that is the gender partnership of human existence.

KNOWLEDGE AND LOVE – THE TWO COMPONENTS OF THE UNIVERSE

The universe consists of knowledge and love. Knowledge provides the structure in which love can function; without it chaos reigns and the nurturing love necessary for life cannot be transmitted.

The unseen God created the physical universe and the unseen conceptual thinking of the masculine principle provided the structure for everything built upon it.

Males provide the environment and means for females to bring forth life and nurture it; the  propagation and preservation of all life requires this interdependent relationship as the physical, mental, and emotional attributes unique to each gender enable them to fulfill their basic purpose and natural function.

When a lion forms his pride he first creates a structure. He looks over the terrain where he plans to live to determine if it provides sufficient water and food to sustain the pride, and if he can defend it. He then gives notice to the other lions of the perimeters of his territory.

Once the lion has established his territory he then offers the lioness an opportunity to be a member of his pride. She can either accept or seek to become part of another lion’s pride.

Humans have had a similar mating pattern for millennia. The man makes the structure and defends it. He also makes the rules. If the woman feels the man can provide the environment she wants to fulfill her function in life she accepts his proposal; if not she turns him down.

Males have an inherent ability to create structure. From early childhood boys develop clubs, teams, and gangs. In adulthood they develop business, educational, financial, military, and governmental structures. The ability to do this derives from the conceptual thinking of the male. All organizational structures are concepts. They do not have size, shape form, or texture and cannot be put into a pocket book.

Women think in pictures, which provides the ability to nurture the race; however, they cannot create structure because they are not equipped with the conceptual thinking required to do so. Every organizational structure in the world was created by a male. That includes the Lion’s pride, Stag’s herd, and Rooster’s flock.

Scientists have determined that boys tend to hang out in groups of 8 to 12, whereas girls limit their groups to 3 or 4. Girls and women cannot build groups of more than four; they have an inherent tendency to create cliques, which inhibits the development of any structural arrangement.

Admitting women into structures that they could not create nor administer, and giving them an equal vote with men caused the structures to weaken, become dysfunctional, and eventually collapse. All structures in the Western world are in various stages of dysfunction and collapse. All.

This collapse has resulted in the deterioration of the well-being of the race. The first illustration will be a brief look at the devastation that has occurred to our children; however, before describing it I am referring to an article by Stephanie Booth, a talented freelance writer whose article Helping People Affects your Brain, appeared in a newsletter of the Epoch Times.

The following paragraph was taken from the article.

“Humans are born especially vulnerable and dependent on others,” explained Tristen Inagaki an assistant professor of psychology at the University of Pittsburgh. “As a result, we require a prolonged period of intense care-giving* following birth in order to survive.”

I inserted the asterisk after care-giving, a gender neutral term that is now the accepted substitute for nurturing love. We care for our livestock and they are not doing well. All life requires nurturing love, especially children, and women are uniquely designed to provide it; however, the family structure has been destroyed and women no longer stay at home to nurture their children.

Women now have jobs and send their children to pre-school, in school, and after school programs, where they are fed food not intended by God to be consumed by humans, attended to by strangers whose purpose is to earn a living, educated with immoral standards, denied the nurturing love essential to childhood development, and given Ritalin or similar drugs if they did not adjust to their unnatural and loveless environment.

A new generation raised without nurturing love, spiritual development, and moral values has become increasingly dysfunctional with many migrating into gangs and eventually jail. The majority of people responsible for violence in our institutions come from dysfunctional homes of one sort or another; they were not raised in the proper structure and/or did not receive nurturing love.

Now let’s look at the destruction taking place among women. The number one health issue of the American woman is debilitating depression with upwards of ten million women or 10% of the adult female population suffering from that malady. One woman in four in her 30’s and 40’s takes anti-depressants. Female suicide at both the adolescent and adult levels has reached all time highs. Upwards of 50% of women suffer from stress; the more common symptoms include  insomnia, lower back pain, headaches, and menstrual issues. All too often women are prescribed medications that address the symptoms but do nothing to remove the cause resulting in an increasing dependency on medicinal drugs which produce toxic effects on their bodies. Also, the majority of Western women develop fibroids while the incidence of breast and cervical cancer continues unabated.

Another influence causing destruction among women was hinted at in the article by Stephanie Booth, which explained the health benefits that people receive when they donate their time to others. Yes, people do benefit when they help others, but the benefits cannot compare to those received by  a woman when she nurtures her family. When a woman puts nurturing love into cooking, folding of the laundry, bathing of the children, cleaning of the house, and other myriad activities of selfless loving care, that nurturing love is flowing through her and she is benefitting from it. She gets healthier. When she ceases to transmit nurturing love her health declines.

Compare the health condition described of the Western woman to the women of the Dogon Tribe in Mali, among whom there has never been a recorded case of breast or cervical cancer. The Dogons have a patriarchal and polygamous structure. Their women are happy, their children are happy, and their men are happy. They practise a natural lifestyle and live long healthy lives.

An indication of the combined deterioration of the Western world and its dysfunction is illustrated in an announcement from the World Health Organization indicating that the number one health issue in England, the United States, and Canada is mental illness. In France anti-depressants are taken at double the rate in which they are taken in England. The American Institute for Mental Health indicates that at any given time 25% of Americans are considered to be mentally ill.

The health and well-being of the Western world and all it influences is deteriorating everywhere. The negative effect on men and boys of the suppression of their natural male attributes, by government, academia, and the media, has such a huge devastating effect on their mental, physical, and spiritual development that it cannot be addressed within the confines of this essay.  What should be noted here is that all the problems of society begin with men not doing the job (whether by design or external influence) for which they were created.

While writing this article I came across the following advice attributed to Confucius,  “To put the world in order, we must first put the nation in order; to put the nation in order, we must first put the family in order; to put the family in order, we must first cultivate our personal life; we must first set our hearts right.”

His advice supports the message of this article. In order to put the nation in order we must first put the family in order. This can only be done by the proper understanding of gender, which requires cultivating our personal life and setting our hearts right. Men must provide the environment and means for women to bring forth life and nurture it. This activity called patriarchy is the natural structure of the universe and represents the functional relationship of knowledge and love.

A healthy functioning and sustainable society requires

spiritual awareness, gender understanding, and family focus.

All indigenous societies had or have these requirements. Pre-Columbian inhabitants of the Americas, Africans, Pacific Islanders, and Asians, all had temples and/or symbols of worship, patriarchal structures, and family orientation. Societal activity revolved around religious rites and activities and were meshed with mating rituals, marriage ceremonies, and a variety of feasts.

Spiritual awareness reminds us that a lot more exists than what we see and helps us to become cognizant to some degree that what we see is dependent upon what we don’t see. We might even realize that the unseen God has created the universe that we see.

The second principle − gender understanding  −  addresses gender, which accounts for all movement in the universe: for any and all movement to take place an assertive influence must act upon a receptive entity. The assertive influence contains the physical, mental, and spiritual  power to sustain itself and to provide for the well-being of the race. It contains conceptual thinking, which enables it to provide organizational and moral structures for the functioning of society. The assertive influence is called the masculine principle and its primary activity is to provide the environment and means for the feminine principle to bring forth life and nurture it. The structure that enables this activity is called the family.

Family serves as the primary arena for the feminine principle to nurture the race. The family environment provides the opportunity for physical nourishment and care, emotional support, ethical training, and communal bonding. The physical location that this activity takes place in is called the kitchen and warrants some attention in this essay.

The kitchen has become a derisive term in the era of feminism. Why should women be  allocated to the kitchen when men have the freedom to do —- what? To toil at jobs that will provide the revenue to sustain the kitchen? The kitchen has not only served as the symbol of family but the actual location of familial and communal activity for thousands of years. In the settling of early America when wagon trains traveling to the West ended a hard day’s journey its members met around the campfire where cooking, washing, and healing took place as did socializing in the form of talking, telling of tales, singing, and perhaps playing card games.

As a boy raised during the depression I lived in a cold water flat which meant the only heat in the apartment was a coal stove in the kitchen. I played, ate, studied, and visited in the kitchen. I eventually learned that even in apartments that had heat in all the rooms people still visited in the kitchen; it was only during formal visits that men visited in the living room after a meal.

The kitchen also served as a training ground for future wives and mothers. The art of cooking and its many subdivisions such as the preparation of  soups, salads, and desserts was taught along with table setting, home decoration, and décor, sewing, knitting, and crocheting, The care of the sick and home remedies past on from generation to generation were learned. The kitchen functioned as the center of the nurturing of the family.

Whether in the Americas, Africa or Asia the indigenous people congregated around the campfire and shared in the nurturing that took place there.

When soldiers are on the front lines thinking of home and family, they are thinking of the kitchen. When boys are in camp or college for the first time and they miss home they are thinking of the kitchen and of Mom’s cooking and all the nurturing love that came with it. The kitchen represents the home and the center of nurturing love to humankind.

Now that we have reviewed the three principles necessary for a viable society we no doubt recognize that these principles no longer exist in our governments. Consequently all governments  − at least Western oriented governments − are failing. They are imploding.

What we as individuals can do is learn to live outside of the system. We can develop our own spiritual awareness, gender understanding, and family orientation. Hopefully after the collapse comes we will be among the survivors.

Dear Reader,

A search of my essay archives produced the following essay titled Pictures and Points which I wrote for an ethnic paper 13 years ago and am reproducing here as it relates to the last two essays posted, HAPPY NEW YEAR 2018, and UNSEEN INFLUENCES, both of which relate to the difference between male and female thinking.

I hope that you find this article enlightening and trust that you will remember the point and not get bogged down in the picture

E.G.

PICTURES AND POINTS

To help pay the bills I do storytelling, and as part of that activity I belong to an organization that promotes storytelling among senior citizens, locates opportunities for them to speak, and helps to train them. During a training session I told a story of the meticulous detail my family put into the decoration of its Christmas trees and indicated that our trees were so beautiful that people from the neighborhood would drop by to see them. At the end of my story a constructive comment made by one of the trainers was that she would like to know (she meant see) what the neighbors looked like, how old they were, and what they wore. I appreciated her comments and decided that if time allowed I would fit those descriptions into my story. An aspect of that story that the commenter did not “see” was the concept or point. The point was that if a tree is beautifully decorated people would appreciate it. That concept will exist regardless of who the people were or what they wore, and will remain after all the people are dead and buried. Men speak to each other in concepts; they get the point − it’s not necessary to paint the picture. That’s one reason that men don’t have to talk a lot to each other − they deal primarily in points.

There are metaphysical truths contained in the difference between pictures and points. Points remain while pictures pass. The unseen world will remain long after what is seen passes. Pictures emanate from points, what is seen emanates from that which is unseen. All great religious texts are written in such a way that the truth is offered in both a seen and unseen manner. “Whatever a man soweth, that shall he also reap,” is a picture representation of the unseen universal law of cause and effect. Women think in pictures, men think in pictures and points, which enables men to write the great truths both ways.

Because women think in pictures they have no points to their stories. I have never heard the trainers at any of my story telling training sessions ask, “What is the point?” Stories without points are descriptions of sensation. That’s what women talk about, their sensational responses. Men understand this trait of women and accommodate them where possible, however; there are times when men want to discuss the point and can’t because of the presence and involvement of women. That was the reason Paul in his letter to Timothy stated that women should not speak in church, and if there was anything they did not understand they should ask their husbands when they got home. Spirituality deals with the unseen. Men understand the unseen and can converse about it. Women cannot; they are equipped to nurture the race, which is a seen activity.

Getting back to storytelling and the request for more physical detail by the trainers − which means they want to see more of a picture − is indicative of all social, academic, and professional intercourse in the Western culture. To accommodate by law the picture people, the point is not addressed. Consequently we deal only with effects (the seen) and not the causes (the unseen). It’s time to address that point and not be lost in the picture.

Note: As you reflect on this article consider what is happening to your sons as they  receive education in an environment of female understanding in which none of their male attributes receive development. What can they possibly be equipped to contribute to society when they reach adulthood?

E.G.

UNSEEN INFLUENCES

The European persona (whether male or female) has a feminine psyche. It acquires information from material observations. It does not possess knowledge, which comes from an awareness of things unseen. Information varies; knowledge remains constant.

Our lives depend upon what we do not see.

The unseen God created the physical universe and the unseen conceptual thinking of men put everything upon it.

The unseen energy of the Sun enables the Earth to provide sustenance for all life. The unseen gravity of the Sun holds the earth and planets in orbit and moves them along with it as it traverses the universe.

The unseen designations of left, right, north, east, south, and west make it possible to build cities on unseen grids and make it possible to navigate to desired destinations. The addition of foot, mile, kilometer and other unseen distance designations coupled with unseen time designations such as minute, hour, and day, make it possible to gauge time of travel and measure productivity.

Latitude and longitude, the international date line, and the equator do not exist. They all represent conceptual designations made by men to facilitate travel and productivity.

Unseen influences also regulate human behavior.

Unseen ethics provide the moral standards for behavior beneficial to humankind. Societies that do not have ethics rely upon the law to maintain order. The law deals with effects. It prohibits behavior that it deems detrimental to society and has no concept of morality or goodness. Governments based on law instead of ethics eventually crumble.

Western medicine also focuses on what it can see. When western people ail they go to a doctor to “see” what he can “find.” The doctors oblige the people by looking into every bodily orifice as deep as they can, and if they can’t “find” anything they conduct MRI’s, X-rays, sonograms or other procedures that will help them “find” something. If they “find” something they then initiate cut or drug procedures to remove what they “found.”

Holistic or psychic healing deals with the unseen, it does not “look” for things − it removes the cause − then the “thing” disappears or becomes benign.

Modern alopathic medicine kills people; it focuses on effects rather than causes.

The entire Western societal structure is in a state of collapse because of its focus on what it sees rather than on what cannot be seen. It does not have the ability to determine causes; therefore it cannot resolve issues.

E.G.

As the year draws to a close we tend to reflect on how we lived the past year and during the totality of our lives and what we could do to improve our lot according to individual and group values.

During this period of introspection −  however brief it might be − we tend to think of our relationship to a power greater than ourselves and if we lived our lives in accordance with the guidance we have received. I take this opportunity to share with you a reflection of one of many issues affecting us.

The Great Absolute, the Great Mystery, or God, by whatever other name, represents the supreme existence, the power behind the all, and has two primary components as conceived by the mortal mind.

The first of these consists of truth, which is constant, enduring, and never changing. As Solomon said, “There is nothing new under the Sun.” There cannot be. Everything emanates from the truth.

The truth provides order to the universe. “Accidents” do not occur in its functioning − all movement occurs within  the framework of the truth.

However, truth does not have warmth and feeling; to have value and meaning truth must be accompanied by love.

Love provides the warmth and desire to reproduce and nurture; it gives purpose to life.

The Godhead consists of Truth and Love. All life requires truth and love to function properly.

Truth provides the environment and means for love to function.

Truth and Love represent the gender principle of the universe.

The masculine principle represents truth and provides the structure and means for the feminine principle to bring forth life and nurture it − the activity that expresses its love.

Love cannot be expressed outside of a structured environment, only chaos exists without structure.

Men created the family and the extended family or tribe as the fundamental structure necessary to propagate the species. Within the confines of this structure societies throughout the world functioned, prospered, and grew. These societies were called patriarchal and contained:

spiritual awareness, gender understanding, and family focus

These three components are essential to the proper functioning of the patriarchal society natural to humankind.

European society and by extension Western society, does not grasp the three essentials necessary for the propagation and preservation of the species. It focuses on material accumulation and self-indulgence. Its structures relate to the production of goods and services and the accumulation of material things. In the absence of ethics and the moral structure they provide, the Western world enacts laws and relies on the enforcement of legal and illegal activities.

The Western world neutered male authority, destroyed the family, sent its children to the government to be cared for like cattle, and interned its women to collapsing institutional structures based on the production of goods and materialistic services.

Eliminating the structures and values created by men such as ethics, appropriateness, responsibility, and obligations has caused the moral breakdown of society. Only gross materialistic standards prevail. Greed, fraud, whoredom, and adultery run rampant in Western society accompanied by the mental, physical and emotional deterioration of women and children. These conditions result in the fall of civilizations.

The demise of Western civilization has begun and will soon be in its death throes.

As the year draws to a close and you look ahead to the next year and decade you might be comforted with the realization this corruption we live in is reaching its end and a new era will soon be ushered in based on:

spiritual awareness, gender understanding, and family focus

This new era will require rebuilding on the old values based on Truth.

The prophet Isaiah said, “You will be known as the rebuilders, and you will rebuild on the old foundations.”

Are you ready to be a rebuilder? Or are you going to do nothing and get sucked under by the undertow of the sinking ship of Western civilization?

The time is at hand and the decision yours to make.

Have a Happy New Year!

E.G.

THE SOURCE AND NECESSITY OF ORDER AND STRUCTURE

The universe contains the structure and order enabling all life to function, preserve itself, and propagate. Structure provides parameters to function within, and order provides reliability of events and responses to action.

Imagine not knowing the time of the phases of the moon or of sunrise, the constancy of the pull of gravity, the temperatures at which liquids vaporize and solidify, the frequency, duration, and height of tides, and the change of seasons. Life could not function and would soon cease if such a lack of order prevailed.

The order and structure of the universe and everything within it comes from the masculine principle, which manifests in the male and provides it with conceptual thinking, a powerful build when compared to the female, and an instinctive desire to protect and propagate the species, which enables it to provide the environment and means for the female to bring forth life and nurture it.

The feminine principle requires structure and order in which to function. Its nature includes high levels of responsiveness and adaptability, characteristics that enable nurturing but also lead to inconstancy and chaos without the presence of structure and order.

An ancient Egyptian Pharaoh wrote “Inconstancy, thy name is woman.” In the 3,500 years that have elapsed since then the validity of that statement has not diminished. Adaptable and responsive personalities cannot be constant.

In all species of life (with few exceptions and aberrations) the male will determine and provide the environment enabling the female to raise her offspring. An example of this activity can be found in a pride of lions, in which the male selects a territory that has adequate game and water and that he can defend before settling the pride in it.

The lion’s structure and order includes the conduct of the pride. The male lion mates with many lionesses, who when they return to the pride to give birth will receive the help of the other females in raising their cubs; however, if the lion does not recognize her scent the cubs are killed and she is driven from the pride. This is the lion’s method of keeping the pride disease free. He wants what comes out of her to be what he put into her, not what some other lion put into her. The propagation and preservation of the species requires more than food and shelter, it requires behavior that benefits the group and the elimination of behavior that is detrimental to it. Males establish and enforce behavioral standards.

Men have always established the behavioral standards of women and children. When women were raised to be chaste, forbidden to smoke, and drink alcoholic beverages the incidences of unwed motherhood, adultery, divorce, and children in foster care, were minimal compared to current standards.  Alcoholism, drug addiction, and venereal diseases have all surged since men have lost their authority  resulting in increases among women of lung cancer, cirrhosis of the liver, and the illnesses caused by drug addiction such as HIV, hepatitis, breathing irregularities, and heart attack. A tragedy of these illnesses is the effect on the unborn and the newborn who are addicts before they draw their first breath. All of the foregoing result from the lack of  familial and societal standards caused by the neutering of the Western male by law and media intimidation.

The lack of standards necessary to provide the structure and order to prevent these diseases and their hardships do not get addressed by government or the media; instead the feminine visual thinking of Western society focuses on effects such as how to treat and pay for treatment for drug and alcoholic addiction of the unborn, of their mothers, and their fathers. How to treat and pay for counseling for juvenile delinquents and academic under performers raised by single mothers without any structure or order in the home. The government as the new man and the new God is expected to provide and pay for these services. It is an irony that the government that destroyed the authority of men, which lead to the weakening and/or disappearance of the family and the moral structure and order that it provided, is the same government that women go to for help.

Women have become enslaved; they go to the government for their every need. They attempt to replace moral conduct and the structure it provides with birth control pills, condoms, and abortions, and all the mental, physical, and emotional havoc they create in the mothers. They seek pre-school, in school, and after school programs for their children as a substitute for a natural home environment with both their parents present, and perhaps the added benefit of extended family. They call upon the government to provide Ritalin or other drugs to be administered to their children who suffer from a lack of nurturing love and parental attention. They seek governmental medical programs to provide them with sleeping pills, anti-depressants, and psychological counseling. The government and media has convinced these women that they are “liberated” and live a more worthwhile life than their mothers and grandmothers.

The breakdown of the structure and order necessary for the development of the human race has left Western society awash in mental, physical, and emotional diseases as it continues on its self-inflicted moral decline and ultimate demise.

THE TOLL OF NATURAL DISASTERS

The greatest hardships experienced in the United States seemingly result from natural disasters such as fire, snow, rain, drought, flooding, tornados and hurricanes. The news media covers these disasters in great depth as it attempts to capture the emotional impact on the populace.

What causes this emotional impact? The damage to health and life is minimal; probably the same death and injury rate would occur without natural disasters. The emotional impact comes from seeing ones home and possessions destroyed. A frequently heard reaction to fire and flood damage “everything we worked for the past 30 years is gone” expresses the reason for the emotional impact − the loss of material things.

The headlines scream about the loss of material things, the costs of clean-up, of repair, rebuilding, insurance claims, and a multitude of other costs. The inconvenience caused by the loss of electricity and transportation add to the turmoil. Without the material considerations, the natural disasters provide little fodder for media broadcasts.

The same weather conditions occurring before the advent of European colonization would not have been called disasters. When water rises people and animals move to higher ground. When the water recedes they move back to the lower ground. Only the damage to material things and their replacement costs make these events newsworthy in our culture.

What health or life threatening impact do snow storms have on society? They become inconveniences to our daily activities resulting in lost business revenue and increased municipal expenditure for snow removal and possible electric power restoration. Snow storms have little life threatening impact or damage to people’s health.

The destruction of the Western family fuels the impact of natural disasters.. People have no place to go. The era of going to live with a cousin, niece, nephew, uncle, or grandmother has vanished. People have become wards of the state and moved about like stray cattle during extreme weather conditions. The true hardship and disaster of our time results from the loneliness that accompanies material loss.

The conditions that enabled the indigenous people of this world to cope with natural disaster were the support of the family and tribe. The loss of a few tents or huts had little significance as the displaced people would live with other family members until their accommodations were replaced.

The American Indian Chief Sitting Bull said in an address to his people, “the white man’s desire for material possessions is like a disease.” It has become more than a disease; it has become an obsession that affects our lives negatively. It has produced an epidemic of  anxiety in the Western world because of the obsessive focus on matters material and dearth of understanding of matters spiritual. We have become dependent upon the world that man has created instead of the world that God created and are paying an increasingly high price for that condition.

The reader of these essays will have noticed that I hold Western thought responsible for these conditions. I am not alone in this thinking. A subscriber has sent me the following commentary, which I have slightly amended, from Imam al-Asi, an independent Muslim thinker.

In recent history, the closest human nature has come to reflect a culture of generosity and openhandedness is within the context of non-Western civilizations. They are the ones not infected with the possessive, materialistic, and covetous nature of Western society. The natives of the Americas, Australia, and Africa, out of their caring and sharing pulse with other humans, would actually give, relinquish, and offer what was theirs to other humans. Unfortunately and especially in their colonial incarnation, Westerners have turned out to be suspicious, acquisitive, and selfish. The givers, by dint of being dominated, paid a high price for their altruism.

Imam al-Asi stated succinctly the materialistic bent of Western society.

While considerable sharing does occur during natural disasters, so does price gouging and looting as the fixation on matters material remains unabated.

The toll of natural disasters in the Western world is proportional to the level of family disappearance and the worship of materialism.

CONSERVATIVE AND LIBERAL IN GOVERNMENT

All Western governmental structures have conservative and liberal factions within them, representing the masculine and feminine influences respectively. A continual confrontation exists between these factions because of the unnatural underlying principle of these governmental structures.

Patriarchy provides the only natural form of human societal structure. It also exists among all mammals and most other forms of life as they work to propagate and preserve the species, which requires the interplay of gender with the masculine gender providing the environment and means for the feminine gender to bring forth life and nurture it.

The respective genders are readily identified and their role in society easily determined. The differences between the stag and doe, rooster and hen, and lion and lioness, are readily apparent, as are the differences between men and women.

Putting both genders on the same basis in one entity creates an unnatural condition since they think, see, and act differently. Doing so becomes the equivalent of having a race of people with one testis and one teat. That’s called amorphous and does not exist at the mammalian level; however, western society proceeds as though it can make such an aberration work in its governmental and societal structures.

All structures come from the masculine principle. All. The definitive attribute of the male is conceptual thinking and its major manifestation results in organizational structure. The lion stakes out the territory that will provide the opportunity and means for the female to bring forth life and nurture it. Males create the sociological structure for all species to live in whether a pride, herd, troop, flock, gam, or pack. Electrons rotate about the nucleus of the atom and planets rotate about the Sun; the masculine principle creates structure and has the responsibility of maintaining it.

The feminine principle requires structure in order for it to function properly. Part of the mating ritual of the female consists of locating the male who will best provide the structure enabling her to bring forth life and nurture it. Without structure female environments disintegrate into chaos and then extinction. The Tao states, “without the Yang the Yin will disappear.”

The definitive attribute of the female is nurturing; it brings forth life and nurtures it.

A look at European governmental structures regardless of the definitions given to their type such as parliamentary, representative, socialist, communist, and democratic will reveal them to have socialized medicine, employment arrangements, communal activities, and education. Eventually these socialistic governments become chaotic and weaken, and are replaced by conservative governments that attempt to undo or modify the socialist laws, but they have limited and temporary success. The trend always continues to the left until collapse occurs.

When men lost all authority in ancient Greece society experienced moral degeneration and then structural collapse. The same fate occurred to the ancient Romans but to a larger degree. Modern Western society currently experiences the same moral degeneration and societal collapse that  Rome and Greece did and for the same reasons ─ extremely liberal and materialistic  governments devoid of ethics.

The decline of Western governments occurs whether or not women have positions in the government, although their presence exacerbates the decline of structure. The causative factor of socialism in European governments results from the feminine psyche of the European (both male and female) which has a material orientation and focus.

Western governments are not based on the propagation and preservation of the species, nor on spiritual development (a significant part of the preservation of the species); instead they have a materialistic basis that fosters a self-indulgent lifestyle ─ making money has become the primary activity of Western society.

Both liberals and conservatives have a material orientation. Karl Marx and Adam Smith had material orientations. Everything European has a material orientation. The difference between conservatives and liberals depends on how they distribute and dispense material.

All forms of governmental structure not based on patriarchy collapse. Only patriarchy focuses on the propagation and preservation of the species, which includes spiritual growth and awareness. Spiritual teachings call for the care of women, children, widows, orphans, the elderly and the infirm. Who is left to fulfill these obligations? The male. His obligation to society calls for providing the environment and means for women to bring forth life and nurture it. All knowledge and wisdom resides in the elders, those people who have served the family, tribe, and race through direct experience. Small wonder for the Biblical command to “stand up before the gray hair, honor the face of the old man before you, and fear the Lord your God.”

In the absence of patriarchy Europeans create strong institutional structures  to compensate for the lack of the masculine influence. They created Roman Catholicism and Communism; two top down authority structures that neutered the influence of the male and strengthened the role of their respective organizations. Other forms of autocratic governments appear on the European scene, but always with an unabated trend towards socialism and centralized control of the population.

All Western governments today trend towards socialism and control of the population with the resultant moral decay and societal unrest that accompany them. These governments cannot be fixed  ─  they are built on the false foundation of materialism. People can choose to abandon the sinking ship of materialism and return to the normal patriarchal way of living, a structure based on spiritual awareness, gender understanding, and family focus.
