MATERIALISM – THE COMMON ENEMY

Bringing about change necessitates having an enemy that can be readily railed against.

While any movement requires a positive message to bring about change, the positive message requires direction against a common enemy ─ thinking that holds true in advertising and sales promotion as well. Even in dieting, holding up the image of a svelte figure as the result of an improved lifestyle has its motivational benefits, but the biggest motivator consists of efforts to get rid of the fat and unhappy self ─ the enemy.

Men’s Action offers a positive message of spiritual awareness, gender understanding, and family focus, with an emphasis on gender, but this positive message must be directed against the common enemy of gross materialism.

Gross materialism has destroyed the family, spiritual awareness, religious influence, ethical standards, moral behavior, civility, and mental, physical, and emotional health. Materialism is the antithesis of spiritual development; all spiritual texts warn of the evils of materialism. “What does it suffer a man to gain the whole world and lose his own soul?” and “It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God” serve as warnings by Jesus of the dangers of materialism.

The motivations of society have a materialistic basis. A young manicurist said to me. “I’m going to school to get an education, then get a good job, make some money, and be somebody.” One of the primary activities of feminism is “like pay for like work.” Money is the motivator, the goal, the be all and end all. These money motivated Western women are the unhappiest, most physically and mentally diseased women in the world. Previous essays have dealt with their lot as will future essays.

Materialism has altered the entire way of life of the Western world. The only option for people who recognize what has happened requires learning to live outside of the mainstream until such time as it self-destructs. The guide for living outside of the mainstream consists of spiritual awareness, gender understanding, and family focus.

Let us never forget the enemy as we move forward with positive thinking and living.

The Effect of Religion in Western Society

The internet news media reported on July 20, 2017 that the Regensburger Domspatzen Catholic choir school in Germany had abused 547 students (mostly preschoolers) physically over a 60 year period. More than half of the complaints were incidents that occurred from 1960 to 1980 and more than 10% of the abuse was sexual.

The previous week the Catholic Church made news by reporting that Vatican police conducted a raid and found a homosexual drug orgy taking place in the apartment of a priest serving as an assistant to a Cardinal

The week before that the media announced that a Cardinal from Australia serving in the finance department of the Vatican was being sued again for not taking appropriate action against priests who reportedly sexually assaulted youth.

The array of behavioral allegations against the Catholic Church seems endless, and other religions have their blemishes as well with clergy members not living the life that they preach, but regardless of church conduct and member affiliation, there are two sets of statistics that lead to a somber reflection on the impact of religion in Western society. The first statistic indicates the number of defections from religious organizations varies little from religion to religion. The second statistic indicates the divorce rate remains essentially the same among people of all religions in western society; furthermore, the divorce rate of the un-churched varies little from those who attend church.

If societal conduct varies little between the religious and the irreligious, between those who pray daily and atheists, the reasonable question that arises is “Why worship?”

In order for worship to be meaningful and effective, people must participate in a lifestyle commensurate with spiritual objectives, otherwise religiosity becomes a gimmick.

To pray in the morning and/or worship weekly and then start the day with the intent of earning more money than your neighbor, or having more than your fellow man is contrary to all spiritual teaching. To focus on amassing money, building a financial portfolio or even creating a highly profitable business, emphasizes worldliness over spirituality. The Western lifestyle is grossly materialistic; it focuses on profits, productivity, and assets. To focus on matters material while praying about matters spiritual is akin to having a Jekyll-Hyde personality. Spiritual ritual in a materialistic motivated environment serves as a gimmick and little more.

The lifestyle natural to the earth, to all societies, and most forms of life is patriarchy. Patriarchy concerns itself with the propagation and preservation of the species and the well-being of all of its members. It has a responsibility to women, children, widows, orphans, the aged, and the infirm. That leaves only one segment of society to fulfill those responsibilities and it’s called man.

Men establish all standards; without male authority there are no standards. Today’s news media reported on a group of teenagers who watched  a crippled man drown in a pool and ignored his pleas for help. We learned of college hazing that killed a young man, of a woman raped at the steps of her church, of a homeless man beaten in public on the sidewalk, of a 20 year-old woman raping a 14 year old boy. These incidents are becoming commonplace in America. There are no standards. The standard makers have been neutered!

Women now brag about being in tune with and expressing their sexuality as sexually transmitted diseases increase, unwed motherhood and sluthood have become the norm, feeding Ritalin to our boys has become as common as providing nutritional supplements, infidelity has become what the French refer to as de rigueur (indispensable), whoredom flourishes, and adultery is flaunted in the media.

We have become a whore society. The mindset of the western world glorifies the ME at the expense of the well-being of the race. It’s me, Me, ME everywhere and in everything. The glorification of the me leads to the decline of society and the growth of whoredom. Two of the many prophets who had a few words to say about whoredom are: Leviticus – “Do not prostitute your daughter and so make her a whore, thus the land shall not play the prostitute and be full of lewdness,” and Jeremiah: – “I myself have stripped off your skirts and laid bare your shame. Your adulteries, your wanton lewdness are an offense to me.”

We live in a society without standards and without spiritual objectives. Our religious institutions have become impotent; its priests, rabbis, ministers, imams, gurus, and lamas have adopted the materialistic view and way of life. They not only have turned a blind eye to whoredom but have become a part of its promotion. Clergy divorce at a rate similar to that of the laity.

It matters little that the Catholic Church is rife with homosexual behavior, whether protestants have as much divorce as atheists, or Muslims have increasing numbers of children in foster care, or Hindus are committing suicide at unprecedented rates. The issue is that the whole Western influenced world has become worshippers of mammon and their respective societies are degenerating. Man cannot worship God and mammon.

In order for religious life to become meaningful secular life must include working for the betterment of all. Society  must have spiritual awareness, gender understanding, and family focus. These three characteristics are found in the patriarchal societies of all indigenous peoples.

My brothers and sisters the materialistic Western culture that we live in is doomed to failure. Perhaps we cannot change society on a grand scale at this time ( although change is coming much sooner than most people think), but we can at least marry, be devoted to our spouses, children, and parents and live a life of concern for others while developing an awareness of the spirit. There really isn’t anything else.

THE IMPLOSION OF WESTERN SOCIETY PART 5

The primary purpose of all existence is to reproduce and preserve itself.

Whatever other purposes might exist, they all depend on the propagation and preservation of the species.

Humans have a high purpose consisting of spiritual enlightenment and eventual union with the creator, but this high calling cannot be accomplished if the race does not propagate and preserve itself.

The mechanism that enables the propagation and preservation of the species is called the principle of gender and it came into existence upon the creation of the universe. All movement in one fashion or another depends upon the urge to reproduce and preserve.

The driving force of gender is called the masculine principle and consists of initiating action, creating structure, and providing protection. The feminine principle consists of the producing and nurturing of that which the masculine principle has initiated.

Most species of life readily exhibit their gender differentiation. Among deer, elks, and bovines for example, the male has the larger stature and bigger horns that enable him to protect the familial grouping. The females are equipped to provide succor for their young, and by temperament provide the nurturing love and attention needed by their offspring. Males and females of all species contain readily identifiable features commensurate with their gender purpose.

Among all species gender activity is for the most part instinctive, even among humans; however, the intellect of the human affects his gender activities ─ for better or for worse ─ depending upon his spiritual development.

In gender differentiation the “I” represents the masculine principle of gender. It contains the Will that motivates the “ME.”

The “ME” represents the feminine principle of gender. It contains the thoughts, feelings, and emotions of the self that require the direction of the “I” in order to produce and accomplish.

The “I” of the North Pole sends a charge to the “ME” of the South Pole and it becomes pregnant and produces magnetism.

The “I” of the anode in a battery sends a charge to the “ME” of the cathode and it becomes pregnant and produces electrons.

The “I” and “ME”, the masculine and the feminine, the positive and the negative principles exist in all life interdependently. Ignoring these principles courts disaster.

The Western world has chosen to ignore this principle by intent and/or ignorance and therefore experiences disaster that continues to worsen in every facet of society.

Two things happen with the removal or suppression of the masculine principle. The first results in the absence of all its benefits. The second results in the loss of the feminine benefits, inasmuch as, feminine benefits can only be delivered in the environment created by the masculine principle.

An example is the complete breakdown of moral behavior in Western society which the news media reminds us of in its daily headlines.

The following  were news captions were taken from New York City newspapers on July 12, 2017:

Pastor gets 15 years behind bars for raping two girls

Female teacher who pleaded guilty to having sex with 16 year-old male student sentenced to jail.

Authorities arrest man on 100 counts of child porn

15 year-old  girl arrested for murdering mom, enlisting help of friend in elaborate cover up

Mom pleads guilty to sending naked pics of infant son to FBI undercover agent

Father of baseball draft pick charged with distributing cocaine, heroin, and meth in New Jersey

These six captions were minor relative to the news of the day, not even located on the front pages of the papers they were taken from. They indicate a breakdown in moral behavior of the young, the old, males, and females, clergy and laity.

Moral conduct comes from the ethics developed by spiritually aware men who realize their responsibility consists of the propagation and preservation of the species. For society to function naturally it must contain spiritual awareness, gender understanding, and family focus. No society can function naturally nor long survive without these three elements.

Western society attempts to maintain order and safety through the law and its enforcement. It has had a love affair with the law from its earliest days. After a 2,000 year history based on the law from Draco to Solon to Justinian to Napoleon, when the Europeans came to America the native Americans said of them, “White man speaks with forked tongue.” The law is an ineffective substitute for moral behavior based on ethics, and only men develop ethics, and only men develop families.

We have not only eliminated the source of ethics, but the environment in which ethics and spiritual behavior can be practiced ─ the home; the place for the inculcation of religious values. The journey to our respective religious centers each week without a venue in which to practice what is taught is for the most part futile and leads to a decrease in participation and the effectiveness of the teachings. American church membership continues to plummet as does the practice of its teachings.

Ancient Greek civilization declined when men lost their authority and ethics and family values disappeared. The same situation existed during the demise of Roman civilization but to a worse degree. The same conditions now exist in the modern Western world and it is crumbling.

There can be no substitute for spiritual awareness, gender understanding and family focus.

Man’s inability to identify with a homogeneous whole represents his primary frustration with modern society. He does not feel that he belongs, instead he experiences a sense of aloneness in a world of self-centered and materially motivated people, a condition that begins with his lack of family orientation in childhood and continues through old age when put into senior citizens housing to await death.

Treated as a finite material commodity instead of an infinite spiritual entity he is referred to as a human resource and its subcategories such as wage earner, professional, factory employee, government worker, and a host of other functional designations.

This dehumanization of the individual began with the neutering of the Western male and the resultant reduction of men and women to persons and then to automaton production workers.

Before describing the details of the dehumanization of humankind it serves our interests to review here the natural order of things.

The natural grouping of mammals and for most species of life consists of an association of the male, female and offspring they produce. Examples of this grouping are found among deer, baboons, and lions.

The challenges and hardships of survival frequently require more resource than the basic familial grouping can provide; therefore, a larger grouping develops called a herd, troop, or pride, respectively among the deer, baboons, and lions.

Among humans this larger grouping is called the extended family or tribe, the natural association of humans and also the most effective in preserving the species and advancing the common good. These groupings have as their heads the male, who is larger, stronger, and equipped mentally, physically, and emotionally to provide the environment and means for the females to bring forth life and nurture it. The name given to this structure is called patriarchy and has existed worldwide since the beginning of human association.

The patriarchal structure exists among lions, deer and especially baboons, who have harems that among other activities, cater to the dietary preferences of the male. They also have an intricate societal structure that grooms youth for adulthood.

The tribe provided for the sustenance of the weak, disabled, and elderly. It also provided ethical training based on the spiritual understanding necessary to sustain a high level of morality.

The Western materially based culture from its inception has attacked and destroyed the patriarchal structure internally and wherever it traveled to by eliminating or neutering the male, thus leaving females and offspring to be controlled by the government. The practice of neutering the male is very common in the raising of livestock, which should be noted inasmuch as Western governments treat people as livestock.

Among humans a more blatant form of neutering the male existed in American slavery in which the slave  males were beaten, removed from, and stripped of any authority thus making women and children completely dependent upon the slave master for their very existence.

In modern Western societies the practice of neutering males is done with more sophistication and subterfuge. The liberal element takes control by neutering the male in all political and economic activities, enabling the ease of divorce, and having the government take over the many facets of child care, which they have unsuccessfully substituted for nurturing love. The financially oriented conservative element weakens the family by the economic independence of women and children, and its disruption and dislocation of the familial grouping.

People have lost the personal leadership of familial groupings and become dependent upon an impersonal government for the necessities of life, which creates loneliness and a frustrated desire to belong, regardless of the financial well being of the individual.

The absence of ethics normally inculcated in people by the family coupled with the focus on material matters creates a sense of government supported selfish thinking among the populace. The slogan “Health care is not a privilege but a right” motivates pure selfishness. Why is it my right to have strangers pay for my health expenses? Food stamps were promoted with the slogan “Having food stamps is smart.” Why should someone else pay for my food? The various rights that the government bestows on people pit one group of people against another and in general creates a self-centered, selfish, “me versus them attitude.”

During the Great Depression I did not see people dying in the streets from lack of nutrition or healthcare. Nor did I see people at schools and public events, get shot, and stabbed even though we didn’t have any security cameras or guards. I saw very few unwed mothers, even fewer divorces, and a prison population 5% of what it is today. People were cared for in a safe and secure environment provided by the family and extended family even though they were poor. The onslaught on the patriarchal way of life was in its infancy and unnoticed.

Today the effects of the destruction of patriarchy are rampant and an integral part of our daily lives; however, before going into the details of the destruction of patriarchy I will make an analogy with the deer mentioned earlier. If the antlers are cut off the stag will the doe be able to do anything that the stag was able to do before his antlers were removed?  Of course not. The result will be that the herd will become vulnerable to another entity, whether the hunter or livestock raiser.

Neutering the male does not give power to the female, it gives power to an authority outside of the familial grouping. In the case of humans it is the government and the powers that influence and control the government.

Devoid of spirituality and the ethical behavior that derives from spirituality governments attempt to compensate by increasing surveillance and police protection. The result is increased chaos, immoral behavior, divorce, venereal disease, suicide, gang membership, drug addiction, killings, beatings, and a nationwide increase in the feelings of insecurity and loneliness.

Western society is imploding throughout the world. There is no fixing it. It is built upon a weak foundation of gross materialism. In order for a human society to sustain itself it must have spiritual awareness, gender understanding, and family focus. The Western world is devoid of these three principles and is imploding.

An amendment to the proposed new health care bill in the United States requires that prospective health providers do not discriminate against people who have “pre-existing conditions,” which means already diseased people cannot be turned down by a health insurance company.

From a humanitarian point of view the intent of this amendment is to assure all people have access to medical care regardless of their state of health; a concept neither new nor previously unimplemented.

As a child raised by poor immigrant parents during the Great Depression I had my tonsils removed by a clinic. Free treatment at clinics was relatively easy to obtain and we could also afford to pay for personal doctors. People were relatively healthy then, prescription usage was rare, and mothers provided most of the healing requirements of families.

The cost of health care has now become a burden on most families for two reasons; the food chain has become polluted creating toxemia in our bodies, and high technology has reduced the cost of material things while making the cost of services prohibitive. These two factors are worthy of separate essays, if not books; however, the issue that I am addressing here concerns two questions: Why must the government function as the primary provider, the alternate provider, or the provider of last resort for health care? Why must people depend upon the government for their health and well-being?

These questions no longer arise in the political arena or in the consciousness of most people for it has already become a norm for the government to take responsibility for school lunches, care of the elderly, care of the homeless, social conduct, community relations, affordable housing, and a host of other activities people and families used to provide themselves.

In the past women provided the healing and nurturing needs of children and all family members while men provided the environment and means for this activity to take place. With the destruction of the family structure the government moved in and has taken over most natural societal functions thus reducing people to automaton production workers whose main focus is to obtain a job paying enough to sustain themselves. Meanwhile nurturing love has been replaced by governmental care and the ethics needed for family and social conduct have been replaced by the law and the ever present eye of security cameras.

The Western world has made of a God of matters material and its governments serve as dispensers of dehumanized services to society.

No society can long endure without the three fundamentals of human existence: spiritual awareness, gender understanding, and family focus.

The Western world is devoid of these three principles and it is imploding.

THE IMPLOSION OF WESTERN SOCIETY PART 2

Whoopee Women of the Western World

The removal of restraints on female behavior provides women of the Western influenced world limitless opportunities to make whoopee as they increasingly and uninhibitedly express their emotions and desires.

Even the so called enlightened women with New Age values say with spiritual conviction that right and wrong or good and bad don’t exist. Isn’t that wonderful? They can indulge themselves to the fullest without any sense of guilt. As Paul said in Philippians 3:19 “They glory in their shame.”

The spiritual values and moral behavior necessary for the propagation and preservation of the species have been removed as a result of the neutering of the male and the unseen attributes that he provides to hold society together such as, reliability, constancy, courage, assertiveness, honesty, temperance, steadfastness, dependability, honor, and truthfulness.

We live in a society in which everyone can do their own thing. Women call this condition liberation. The prophets had another name for it which will be addressed later, but for the moment let’s take a deeper look at our liberated society.

Having security guards stationed at most every public event, and many private events, at most business offices or buildings in which business offices are located, at almost all public and private institutions, plus the  ubiquitous presence of security cameras in our neighborhoods, shopping malls, department stores, government offices, and educational institutions does not indicate that we live in a liberated society, but rather one that maintains increasing surveillance and control over every aspect of our lives.

The prison population in the United States has increased 25 fold since 1929 whereas the population of the nation has little more than tripled. The society of whoopee women is not faring well.

Right and wrong, which was taught in the home and supported by moral standards incorporated into social mores, have been replaced by legal and illegal, which require extensive enactment of laws and their enforcement. Increasingly legal and illegal are at odds with moral and immoral. Moral behavior derives from ethical standards that come from the spiritual understanding of the requirements for the propagation and preservation of the human race. Human race consciousness has all but disappeared and the glorification of the self has taken its place, which is called liberation and provides the basis for the conduct of whoopee women of the Western world.

The prophets call this activity whoredom and beginning with the first book of the Bible there is a continuous reference to the harlot, whore, and whoredom when addressing the collapse of society. All societies before they collapse become whore societies. The Western world is a whore society with the emphasis on people selling their services for money. Children are educated and trained to get jobs, the vehicle through which society performs its whoredom.

Most non-Western societies did not have jobs; people “worked” for the benefit of the family and tribe. The propagation and preservation of the species served as the primary activity of society and family provided the arena in which it took place.

All societies become whore societies when men no longer fulfill their responsibilities and obligations. Sodom and Gomorrah and Israel during the time of the prophet Jeremiah are two such examples. Ancient Greece and Rome also collapsed in the same way ─ their women became whoopee women as society degenerated and imploded.

As a society nears its collapse it develops a frenzy of whoopee women who eventually become screaming women when the collapse occurs. When women scream they are not calling on their sisters to help them; they are calling upon men. Unfortunately for them, few men will be around.

As the prophet Isaiah stated, “On that day seven women will come to one man and they will say, we will provide our own food and clothing, please give us your name.” Anas ( a close friend of the prophet Mohammed) said, I heard the messenger of Allah saying, “The signs of the hour include the scarcity of knowledge, the manifestation of ignorance, the display of adultery, the abundance of women, and the decrease of men to the extent that for 50 women there will be one man.”

There will not be a numerical shortage of males when the collapse comes, but a shortage of real men who recognize their responsibilities to the family, tribe, and race. The whoopee women turned screaming women will not be able to find a man to protect them when the government collapses and chaos envelopes society.

A review of the news indicates that the number of political meetings and demonstrations continues to increase throughout the Western oriented world as does the participation of screaming women. These women who supported the “we don’t need men anymore philosophy” are now upset that the government who “liberated”  them is failing them and they have no other source to turn to for the resolution of their issues; the males that they associate with are also demonstrating and screaming.

The implosion of Western society has already begun my sisters: if you don’t have a man at home I suggest you find one; and soon.

The past few years has seen a relatively limited posting of essays on this website because of what I considered a lack of involvement by the readership . After positing more than 160 essays and not having created  much of a following I decided to take a hiatus. Then recently I thought of the advice of a friend who indicated the importance of getting the message out regardless of the immediate response. He said people will take action at the opportune time. With that advice in mind I have decided to post essays again and also believe that the opportune time has arrived, as every facet of the societal structure of the Western world is imploding and those who do not make adjustments to their lifestyle now will not fare well as the collapse deepens.

A side benefit of the diminished essay writing resulted in more effort spent on the refinement of my message, which I present to you here. In order for a society to sustain itself it must have:

spiritual awareness, gender understanding, and family focus

All indigenous societies throughout the world practiced these three principles. Humankind expresses the spirit within, it functions in accordance with gender characteristics, and the family provides the arena in which values are taught and practiced. Upon reflection you might conclude  the Western world is devoid of these three characteristics.

It might help to better prepare yourself for this series if you review the essays entitled A Gender History of Europe, which explain the nature of European thought. For those who have my books, it will also help to review the gender characteristics that they describe.

During the course of these essays I will occasionally refer to political parties and their activities as examples of societal implosion and not because I am allied with one or the other; none of them exhibit any long term effectiveness as their values rest upon the weak foundation of materialism.

The worship of materialism by the West has reached extraordinary heights. At the governmental level we have not only a separation of church and state, but of God and country as well. With the breakdown of the family (the normal source of spiritual inculcation) and the increasing influence of pre-school, in school, and after school programs, we are creating a society devoid of spiritual development.

Two young men in my neighborhood provided an example of the lack of spiritual understanding when they told me (each one on a separate occasion) they only believe in what can be proven in a laboratory. They made material analysis the source of truth. They affirmed that the god of the west is the material world. It always has been and remains so. Karl Marx called religion the opium of the people. Atheism has its greatest foothold in Western societies.

An atheistic society or one that has little spiritual awareness has no concept of the purpose of the propagation and preservation of the species and what it entails, especially the propagation of the human race; therefore it has a very limited gender understanding as manifested by its laws insisting upon gender sameness regarding all matters economic, the tool by which western society measures societal well being and progress.

In the natural process of propagating and preserving the species the male provides the environment and means for the female to bring forth life and nurture it. We call this environment family.

No family–no nurturing. Schools and universities do not teach nurturing; instead the emphasis is on care. We hear the politicians and media speak of child care, care of the elderly, prenatal care, after school care, and the care of the homeless. Livestock are cared for and they are not doing well. All life requires nurturing love. Only females have the ability to transmit nurturing love, whether animal or human; however, in Western society women have been removed from the family environment and now sell their services on the open market while their children are “cared for” by government institutions and fed Ritalin or the equivalent drug to compensate for lives lacking in nurturing love. They join gangs and eventually end up in prison and/or dead in the streets.

The Western woman isn’t faring well either as her major health condition is debilitating depression.

The above represents a small portion of the many facets of Western decline and implosion. Future essays will address domestic terrorism, increased drug abuse, the influence of pharmaceuticals in our medical treatment, the destruction of our food chain, the deliberate destruction of the family, and the development of a police state; all in greater depth

Society is falling apart.

The pollution of the air, water, and food has created many physical issues such as the increase of chronic ailments, allergies, and generally poor health, which require a growing need to take medications. Mental illness has become the number one illness of the United States,  the major health issue affecting the American woman is debilitating depression with 10 million women or 10% of the adult female population suffering from that malady, and one million American school children take the drug Ritalin or its equivalent. The prison population has increased 20 fold since 1929 while our nation’s population has barely tripled.

We are self-destructing.

The gross materialistic thinking (which I refer to as Honkeyism and which I will explain in later postings) imposed upon us and which we have accepted has caused these conditions. The solution requires living outside of this materialistic framework and returning to a more natural way of life based on spirituality, gender, and family. Any philosophy, religion, or societal structure that does not include these three requirements is incomplete and destined to fail.

I will be making social media postings based on these requirements to further acquaint you with the magnitude of the issue facing us, its cause, and solution.

The word oops is used to express mild apology for an error or infringement made to another. The oops attitude has become an integral part of American foreign policy and military activity.

An American drone attack against “terrorists” in Yemen accidentally blew up the wrong house. Oops. Americans have blown up innocent civilians in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Pakistan. Oops, oops, and oops.

Perhaps the biggest oops resulted in the attack made on Iraq for its possession of weapons of mass destruction, which after extensive search were shown not to exist. The invasion of Iraq and the subsequent destabilization of the country has resulted in the loss of more than 100,000 civilian lives. That’s a lot of oopses.

In one military operation in Afghanistan American forces accidently killed a woman’s five sons. General Petraeus paid her a personal visit presumably expressing his regret for the oops that took their lives.

To give this oops policy another perspective imagine that the Mexican government in its war on drugs fired drones into the United States at the drug cartel’s suspected operations, and occasionally blew up the house of innocent civilians. How would Americans react to that oops? Would they do nothing or would they take strong diplomatic and military action? Even if the Mexican government did not make any errors and not even one oops occurred would that incursion on to American soil be tolerated?

By what right are we shooting-up the countries of the Middle East? Does the average person in the Western world have any knowledge as to why American soldiers are in Afghanistan?

The nations that have been the victims of the American oops policy do not have the wherewithal to conduct large scale military operations. They fight back on a guerrilla basis, which we choose to call terrorism. Isn’t having drones fired into a person’s neighborhood terrifying? All the terrorist organizations that have been classified by Western governments come from countries that are occupied and/or are subject to the oops policy.

No person wants to die; the basic motivation of all life is to preserve itself. If people give up their lives it is because they are in a desperate state. Japanese Kamikaze pilots in World War II expressed the desperation of a government that knew it was losing the war. People that blow themselves up in order to destroy others are desperate because they see no other way to combat the oops policy imposed upon them.

Not only does a person not want to kill himself but he does not want to kill others either. Having American soldiers sent on tours of duty for the purpose of killing others who pose no threat to them or their country has created severe psychological trauma upon their return home. The oops policy does not work well for them either.

The recent incursion into Europe of terrorist activity has not resulted in any public indication of an internal dialogue by governments concerning changing the oops policy, but instead it has focused on blowing up everybody that dares to oppose that policy. Russia, France. the UK and the United States are attempting to work out a unified plan on how to eliminate those who rebel against the oops policy and who have dared to retaliate in Europe.

The Europeans have expressed outrage at this incursion on their lands, which reminds me of Rev. Jeremiah Wright’s comments regarding the 9/11 attack in America in which he stated:”We have supported state terrorism against the Palestinians and black South Africans, and now we are indignant because the stuff we have done overseas is now brought right back to our own front yards. America’s chickens are coming home to roost.”

There will be many more chickens coming home to roost in the Western world. The great spiritual truth “Whatever a man sows, so shall he reap” cannot be avoided.

At this point the reader might be wondering why I am addressing this issue as I do not take sides in domestic or foreign political matters. Men’s Action focuses on spirituality, gender, and family, not on international situations; however, the issues regarding international conflict and the oops policy result from the absence of spirituality in the Western conduct of domestic and international affairs.

Western thought, wherever it is accepted−and most of the world now accepts it−is devoid of spirituality; therefore, it does not have an understanding of the purpose of human existence, gender, and family. The gross materialism of its thinking has created a society without ethics, which accounts for the Western oops policy ( it also account’s for domestic terrorism, which has become commonplace in America). The Western presence in foreign lands represents its penchant for imposing its standards on others, which it considers to be a right; hence, it feels no guilt in killing innocents.

To end terrorism the oops policy must be brought to an end not only in foreign and military activities but in domestic political and police policies as well; however this cannot be done without spiritual understanding and the ethics necessary to establish moral standards and behavior.

When we think of wars we focus on the major battles of those wars, or those battles that have become symbolic of them. In America we recall the Battle of Lexington in the Revolutionary War, the Battle of Gettysburg in the Civil War, and the Battle of Guadalcanal in World War Two. The Russians might recall the Battle of Stalingrad, and the British the Battle of El Alamein; however, we tend to ignore or exhibit a complete lack of awareness on what is known as logistics, the ability to supply the armed force with the materials necessary to wage its military campaign.

World War Two was won primarily by American logistics. It provided the tanks necessary for General Montgomery in Africa, the food necessary to sustain the people of the British Isles, and the munitions necessary for the Russians. The American disruption of the logistical chain between Japan and its island outposts won the battle for control of the Pacific Ocean.

Perhaps one of the greatest logistical achievements the world has seen consisted of supplying the army of Alexander the Great as it traveled on foot from Greece through Egypt, Arabia, Afghanistan, and Persia to the borders of India. Another significant logistical achievement was the successful retreat from Vienna by the Ottoman leader Suleiman the Magnificent as he maintained his defeated army through inclement weather, a difficult terrain, and a hostile environment during its long journey home.

The brief excursion into the importance of military logistics presented above will hopefully provide a better understanding of ISIS activities in the Middle East. ISIS represents a military operation taking place in the dessert and consisting of thousands of men. These men need arms, food, and transportation in order to conduct their operations. Unlike more fertile environments, the desert does not offer sustenance to an army. Food and water must be brought to it along with munitions and fuel for their vehicles. The oil in the desert wells cannot be used for fuel, but must be refined and then transported to the combatants.

ISIS combatants cannot be concealed as was Chairman Mao’s army hiding in the mountains, or German mechanized units hiding in the forests before their attack on the Maginot Line. ISIS is out in the open and under the scrutiny of satellite cameras capable of accounting for every camel strolling in the desert. How can one believe that they were a surprise to the Western military?

In this era of accessible information in which everyone’s birth date, phone number, and credit card number is known to any organization that wants to learn of it, how could Western intelligence not know of the activity of ISIS?

The feminine oriented media of the West cannot shed any light on this situation due to its inability to conceptualize or discern between causes and effects; it can only report upon what it sees. How sad.

To compare ISIS to the activities of a few people who obtain guns, knives, hatchets, and matches and commit acts of terror in our institutions does not address the real issue, which is of a fighting force of thousands with sophisticated technology capable of inflicting considerable damage in an ever increasing sphere of operations.
ISIS is waging a ground war in Iraq and Syria and has had many successful engagements with its enemies. It also has brought down a Russian plane and inflicted considerable damage in France. To recruit, train, arm, and feed, that organization requires extensive logistical planning and lots and lots of money. Where do the arms and supplies come from? Who provides the money to sustain ISIS and why? These are questions that need to be asked by the media accompanied by a relentless pursuit of the answers.

Reporting on the military battles of ISIS and its incursions into Europe focuses on the effect while keeping the public ignorant of the cause.
